**Hillary House Party – A Chill 4/20 in Portland**

Hillary is a friend from Portland who is part DJ, part promoter, part raver, and all cool.  A great girl who had a plan for a house party series.  She asked my and my all time favorite Portland DJ – Jen Barnes to play in her living room.  And while the turnout was small, the vibe was massive.  Super chill set that starts with breaks and ambient and develops into full on house classics.  So Much Fun.

OK. This is one of my favorite sets of all time and one that has been many months in the making. Hope it adds some groove and cheer to your holiday.

With a few notable exclusions, this mix features all the artists from my childhood, the music the influenced me growing up. Marvin, Stevie, Roberta, Aretha, BB, Earth Wind and Fire, Barry White, the Isley Brothers – and a bunch that may be lesser known to you, but shouldn’t be – Billy Paul, Eddie Kendricks, Curtis Mayfield, Randy Crawford, Ashford and Simpson. One of my first international gigs, playing in an old movie theater for hundreds of up for it ravers and clubs kids, many of whom I still call my friends to this day.
