Paul Dailey
(Boston, MA)

Paul Dailey is a veteran of the underground dance music scene, known for his work in clubs, raves, festivals, and on the radio. Based in Boston, he has spent decades developing a sound rooted in techno and forward-thinking electronic music, earning a reputation for strong programming, technical precision, and an ability to build long, immersive sets.

Over the course of his career, Paul has performed at influential clubs and festivals across North America and internationally. Notable appearances include Movement Festival in Detroit, Smart Bar in Chicago, The Church in Denver, multiple House of Blues venues, and events surrounding the Winter Music Conference in Miami. He has shared lineups with some of the most respected names in techno, including Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Marco Bailey, Adam Beyer, Green Velvet, and Chris Liebing.

Paul is a regular presence in established clubs, with recurring appearances at Rise in Boston, Red Door in Portsmouth, and Sullivan Room in New York City. His sets emphasize flow and energy over trends, drawing equally from classic influences and contemporary underground releases.

In addition to his club and festival work, Paul has extensive experience in radio. He has hosted mix shows on terrestrial and satellite platforms, including XM Radio, and currently runs the long-standing bi-weekly podcast Hardwired, focused on techno and underground electronic music from around the world.

Outside the booth, Paul has contributed to the culture as a freelance music journalist for more than 15 years, writing interviews and reviews for publications including DJ Times, Kick Magazine, Upfront UK, and dancemusic.about.com. As a producer, he has released original music and EPs on labels in Germany, Holland, Japan, and the United States.

After nearly 40 years of DJing weddings, Paul has officially stepped away from that side of the industry. Today, his focus is firmly on underground music and culture. He now DJs selectively, coming out for special events, fundraisers, one-off club nights, and underground parties where the music, the room, and the intention align.

A consistent supporter of techno and underground music, Paul remains connected to the scene, bringing his sound to dance floors on his own terms.
